VERMILLION, S.D.-- - The Coyotes split a home exhibition duel with Omaha Friday. The men won 298-301 while the women lost 316-323.

Junior Nolan Schmidt (Avoca, Iowa) and redshirt freshman Dakota Clark (Orono, Minn.) had low rounds for the men. Both golfers shot 74. Schmidt's low round last year was 75.

Sophomore Jordan Rearick (Omaha, Neb.) was the top performer for the women, shooting a 77.

The Coyotes first regular season tournament is Sept. 10-11. at the Chip N' Club Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.
