CONWAY, Ark. – South Dakota suffered a four-set setback to Little Rock, 25-18, 24-26, 25-21, 25-21, to conclude play at the Central Arkansas Tournament.
The Coyotes offensive attack sputtered to its lowest hitting percentage (.090) of the season in falling to 6-3.
Hayley Dotseth contributed 16 kills and 20 digs in the match while
Elizabeth Loschen, who was named to the all-tourney team for USD, added 13 kills. However, South Dakota had trouble against the Little Rock front row as the Trojans accumulated 16 total team blocks in the match.
Madison Jurgens provided 36 assists and 10 digs while
Anne Rasmussen had 24 digs in the two hour and 10 minute match.
South Dakota will play its final non-conference tournament of the season when it travels to CSU-Bakersfield.
