Anne Rasmussen has been named the Summit League co-defensive player of the week, the league announced Tuesday.
Rasmussen, a native of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, earns her fourth defensive player of the week honor this season. She totaled 38 digs in two matches averaging 4.75 digs per set as the Coyotes remained perfect in Summit League play with wins over South Dakota State and North Dakota State.
Rasmussen, honored for the 10th time in her career, had 18 digs in the three-set win over South Dakota State and registered 20 digs and five service aces in five-set win over North Dakota State.
This season the reigning Summit League Defensive Player of the Year is averaging 4.66 digs per set, which ranks second in league statistics in that category.

Leanne Williamson said. "She has continued to be a consistent defensive front for our team, as well as serving the ball at a high rate..
"I look forward to watching her play in two big contests for us this week at home and in Sioux Falls."
The Coyotes, 17-1 overall and 4-0 in Summit League play, host Western Illinois on Friday before playing Purdue Fort Wayne in the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls on Sunday.
