COLUMBIA, Mo.—South Dakota junior
Scott Fudenberg fired rounds of 71 and a season-low 69 and stands in 18
th place in a field of 78 golfers entering the final day of the Missouri Tiger Invitational hosted by The Club at Old Hawthorne. The third and final round is set for Tuesday.
Fudenberg posted six birdies and two bogeys in getting to 4-under par for the tournament. He trails five golfers who are at 5-under and four more at 6-under. Kansas State's Jacob Eklund is atop the leaderboard at 13-under, two strokes better than Stefano Mazzoli of TCU.
Fellow Coyote Tom Vining carded back-to-back rounds of 71 and sits in 29
th place at 2-under.
Tate Arends (t-44, +2),
Matt Tolan (t-59, +5) and
Jacob Michel (77
th, +18) round out South Dakota's lineup.
TCU has three golfers in the top six and stands in first place in the team race at 32-under. Missouri (-27), Kansas State (-24) and Illinois State (-16) round out the top four. South Dakota is in 11
th place of 15 squads at 1-over par. Also representing The Summit League are Oral Roberts (6
th, -9) and South Dakota State (13
th, +12).
