VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota athletics, the new voice of Coyote football John Thayer, KVHT radio, and Learfield IMG College present Coyote Classics, a series of audio replays of thrilling Coyote football victories from recent seasons.
 
Our final installment, which debuts Saturday from 1-3 p.m., features the Coyotes' 24-21 win against South Dakota State on Senior Day last November inside the DakotaDome. South Dakota quarterback Austin Simmons passed for 252 yards, ran for 47 and accounted for all three Coyote touchdowns. USD's defense stopped three South Dakota State drives in the fourth quarter to preserve a three-point lead in a game in which the Coyotes' extended their streak of seasons with at least one top-25 victory to seven.

Thayer will lead fans through a condensed replay and hosts discussions with Simmons, tight end Brett Samson (6 rec, 71 yds, 2 TDs), safety Isaiah McDaniels (9 tckls, 2 forced fumbles) and head coach Bob Nielson.
