VERMILLION, S.D.—University of South Dakota Head Football Coach Bob Nielson and his staff are among the featured speakers at the 29^th annual South Dakota Football Coaches Association Coaches Clinic presented by Sanford POWER-Riggs Premier Football Academy. The clinic runs March 20-21 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center and DakotaDome on the campus of USD. The cost is $60 per attendee for those who register online and $85 for walk-up registrations.
 
Nielson will provide the welcome at 3 p.m. on March 20. Coordinators Ted Schlafke, Travis Johansen and Rob Aurich along with assistant coaches Al Sega, Abdul Hodge and Phil Ockinga will follow.
 
The Keynote Speaker is Fresno State Head Coach Kalen DeBoer, who spent 2019 as the offensive coordinator for Indiana. The Hoosiers went 8-5 for the program's best mark in 26 years. DeBoer was the offensive coordinator for the Bulldogs in 2017 and 2018 and was named head coach back on Dec. 17. A Milbank, South Dakota native, DeBoer was the head coach at University of Sioux Falls from 2005-09 and won three NAIA national championships.
 
Also featured in the programming is Randy Gravitt, a motivational speaker and success coach who will open the March 21 session. Gravitt is the C.E.O. (Chief Encouragement Officer) of INTEGREAT Leadership which strives to help leaders reach their full potential. He is also a co-author for "Finding Your Way: Discovering the Truth About You." His newest book with Dan Webster is titled "Unstuck: A Story About Gaining Perspective, Creating Traction, and Pursuing Your Passion."
