VERMILLION, S.D.—The inaugural season of YoteCast with host John Thayer wrapped up on Thursday afternoon with the summer finale.
 
Guests include USD Director of Athletics David Herbster, Feeding South Dakota's executive director Matt Gassen and the new voice of Coyote women's basketball Carter Woodiel.
 
Both Herbster and Gassen both discussed the South Dakota Showdown Series.
 
"It was an incredible run by our student-athletes," Herbster said of the Showdown Series. "The competition between South Dakota and South Dakota State – there's a lot riding on it. I know as much as the fans and alumni look towards it, the student-athletes and the players on the teams, they do too."
