HAT TRICK ALERT

Tiannah Moore dazzled in her performance against Summit League newcomer St. Thomas as she went on to finish the game with the first USD hattrick since Oct. 31, 2019. Moore recorded the 15th hat trick in Coyote history and the fifth of the Division I era.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Yotes defense has been making a name for themselves on the nationally level ranking in the top 10 in several categories. USD ranks third in save percentage, 10th in goals against average and sixth in shutout percentage.

The Yotes also tied for the most shutouts thus far in the Summit League with seven. Emma Harkleroad ranks fifth in goals against average and second in save percentage in the nation. She leads the conference with five shutouts on the season and has a 5-1-2 record on the season.

SERIES HISTORY VS ORAL ROBERTS
The overall record between these two teams is neck and neck with four wins, four losses, and one tie. The Coyotes have won the last two meetings, but we do not fare well when playing in Tulsa, with an away record of 0-2-1.

SERIES HISTORY VS KANSAS CITY
The Roos hold a 7-2-1 record all-time in the series dating back to 2009. The two teams split the season series last year in Kansas City when it was a conference only round robin spring schedule. The Roos have won the past seven of eight in the series.

A LOOK ACROSS THE PITCH
The Golden Eagles come into the game with USD this weekend on a bit of a rough patch. ORU is currently on a four-game losing streak after dropping both games to the North Dakota schools to open conference play. Kansas City after a tough non-conference season going 2-8 playing Creighton, Iowa, Tulsa Oklahoma and Wisconsin. The Roos however sit atop of the conference standings after sweeping the North Dakota schools to open conference play 2-0.

LAST TIME OUT
The Coyotes extend their win streak in impressive fashion to open conference play against St. Thomas. The Yotes recorded a season-high four goals with senior Tiannah Moore recording her first career hat trick. However, the win streak was snapped by the Leathernecks on Sunday 2-1 to give the Yotes a 1-1 conference record after the first weekend of conference play.
