South Dakota athletics is thrilled to bring back the Coyote Block Party set for Saturday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot east of the DakotaDome.
 
Join Coyote Nation for fun, food and fandom with programming featuring Coyote coaches and student-athletes. Food vendors and complimentary beverages will be available, and there will be face painting, balloon artistry and games for all ages.
 
The National Guard and ROTC along with the State Highway Patrol will be hosting exhibits, Anheuser-Busch and Pepsi products will be served and Fernson brewery will be serving their new Yipeeo Red Ale. Charlie's Bookstore and Fan Shop will also be on site for all of your game day needs.
 
"It's exciting to welcome back the Coyote family to our campus," said USD Athletic Director David Herbster. "Kicking off the fall sports together brings back the life and energy of Coyote Nation. The Coyote Block Party is a growing tradition, and we can't wait to see you there."

In the event of inclement weather, the Coyote Block Party will move inside the DakotaDome. A decision will be made by 9 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the South Dakota Coyotes social media pages for the most up-to-date information.
