The South Dakota men's golf team will compete in their third tournament in as many weeks as they travel to Wichita, Kansas, for the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational. The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday followed by a final round of 18 holes on Tuesday. Crestview Country Club will play as a par 71 and covers 6,928 yards.

The field for the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational has a smaller field compared to others South Dakota has competed in. The field of 10 will include teams USD has already seen this year and includes conference opponent Omaha. Both days of the event will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

South Dakota's lineup includes on change from the previous tournament. Senior
Max Schmidtke will lead as the number one bag follow by senior
Hunter Rebrovich, graduate
Bryce Hammer, senior
Ryan Neff, and sophomore
Logan Hamak. Junior
Nick LaMotte and freshman
Danny Renner will compete at this tournament as individuals.

The Coyotes are coming off a seventh-place finish at the Big O Classic last week. USD compiled a 54-hole score of 885 after rounds of 298, 286, and 301. Schmidtke led the team with a 16th place finish after two rounds of even-par 72 and a 75 in the third round.

This tournament will be the first time Wichita State has hosted a home tournament since the 2012 season.
