Coyotes add Linwood to volleyball roster

VERMILLION – South Dakota women's volleyball coach Leanne Williamson is pleased to announce the addition of Keyauna Linwood to the roster ahead of the 2022 fall season.

Linwood, a 5-foot, 11-inch middle blocker, transfers to South Dakota from Jacksonville (Fla.) University and she will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

"I am very excited to add Keyauna to our program this fall!" coach Leanne Williamson said. "After the time that we spent together, it is evident that she is eager to learn, and I believe she will fit into our system as well as add depth to an already great position group!

"Her competitiveness will help her make the transition to our program, and I am thrilled that she is just as excited to be a Coyote!"

Linwood played in 22 matches and appeared in 72 sets during her freshman season at Jacksonville where she totaled 78 kills and 33.5 total blocks. She recorded at least one kill in 19 of her 22 appearances during the season.

Linwood, who hails from Wylie, Texas, prepped at LV Berkner High School where she was a two-time all-district selection for the Rams.

The daughter of Nakeya Ericks and Donald Ericks plans to study Health Sciences during her time at South Dakota.
