Danii Anglin swept all four TicketSmarter Summit League Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards for the period ended May 8.
All four garner their first honor of the outdoor season.
Morvan, who hails from Vannes, France, clocked a season-best 14.18 seconds to win the 110-meter hurdles at the USD Twilight. The time moved him to first in the Summit League standings entering the championship meet. Morvan is the defending champion in the event, winning last year's race in 13.96 seconds. Morvan collects his third career weekly award from the Summit.
Young, a native of Toledo, Ohio, vaulted a personal best 17-5 ¾ (5.33m) to finish as the top collegian in the men's pole vault at the Twilight meet. He moves to seventh in USD outdoor history with the height. The mark ranks 27th in the nation, putting three current Coyote vaulters into the top-30 nationally. All three rank in the top-three of the Summit standings as well. Young also placed third in the 110-meter hurdles on Friday. This marks the first career weekly honor for Young.
Kinney, a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, clocked a personal best 11.64 seconds to win the 100 meters on Friday. The time gave her the Summit League lead in the event this season and moves her to third all-time in USD program history. Kinney also finished runner-up in the 200 meters with a personal best time of 23.91 seconds. Kinney picks up her second career Summit weekly award.
Anglin, who hails from Spring Mount, Jamaica, tied her personal best in the high jump with a clearance of 5-10 ¾ (1.80m). The height moved her to the top of the Summit standings and 30th in the nation this season. Anglin earns the Summit weekly honor for the second time of her career.
South Dakota begins its championship season this week with the Summit League Championships held Thursday through Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
