THE MEET
South Dakota men's and women's track and field will begin the 2023 portion of its indoor track and field season on Saturday when it hosts the South Dakota Kickoff inside the DakotaDome on Mildred J. Hillenbrand Memorial Track.
THE COYOTES
South Dakota had a strong start to its indoor season by posting 11 victories during its lone meet in December, including a pair of school record efforts.Â
Dani Anglin, a sophomore, set the school record in the high jump with a clearance of 6-1.25 while
Erin Kinney, a third-year sophomore, lowered her school-record time in the 60-meter dash to 7.39 seconds.

Lydia Knapp,
Lauren Meyer along with
Jackson Coker,
Dylan Kautz,
Mark Daley and
Marshall Faurot were all individual winners for the Coyotes while the foursome of
Caelyn Valandra-Prue, Pulse,
Sara Reifenrath and
Anna Robinson won the 4x400 in 3:47.18, the 10th fastest indoor 4x4 time in school history.
THE COMPETITION
The four-team meet will see South Dakota compete alongside Morningside, Midland and Wayne State.

South Dakota hits the road for the Power River Dual in Gillette, Wyoming on Friday, Jan. 20.
