SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota third-year sophomore Erin Kinney has been selected as the TicketSmarter Summit League Track and Field Peak Performer of the week.
 
Kinney, honored as the Women's Track Peak Performer, won a pair of individual events during the South Dakota Kickoff meet held at the DakotaDome on Saturday.
 
Kinney sped to a new DakotaDome record in the 60-meter dash prelims in 7.40 seconds and came back to win the finals in 7.43 seconds. She also added a victory in the 200 in 24.41, just one-tenth off her personal indoor best.
 
The Coyotes will resume the indoor track and field season by traveling to Gillette, Wyoming to participate in the Powder River Dual at the Campbell County Rec Center.
