The Coyotes won 2-1 against the Golden Eagles the last time they met in 2022. The overall series is tied with five wins for each team and one tie in 2019.

South Dakota clinched its spot in the Summit League Tournament despite falling to Kansas City 2-0 on the road Thursday. The Coyotes can expect to earn anything from the third to sixth seed in the tournament depending on how the remaining Summit League contests shake out.

Ashby Johnston still leads the league in goals with eight on the season. She is also second in points with 18, second in shots with 38 and tied for third in shots-on-goal with 18. Johnston is joined on the Summit leaderboards by

Izzy Quintavalle and
Rylee Haldeman who are tied for first in the Summit with five assists apiece.
Caroline Lewis also made her way to the top of the Summit with 77 saves, putting her in second for saves per game (4.81).

The Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts is coming off a 1-1 tie against South Dakota State. Kristi Keller scored the game-tying goal with less than a minute on the clock for the Golden Eagles. Following their tie with SDSU, Oral Roberts secured their spot in the tournament and could finish anywhere from the second to sixth seed headed into the tournament.

The Golden Eagles have had a lot of players making crucial plays for the offense this season. Haley Nichols is currently sixth in the Summit for shots per game with 2.08, followed by her teammate Samantha See in 10th with 1.88. See is also tied for fourth in shots-on-goal per game with 1.13, tallying 18 on the year. Kennedy Langebartels and Samantha Guzman are tied for fifth on the assists leaderboard with four each. Carty Kingsbury is tied for third in game-winning goals with two. To round out the offensive leaderboard, Gabrielle Abbey is tied for ninth in total points with 12.
