SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—South Dakota fourth-year junior McKenna Herrmann picked up the final Summit League Peak Performer of the Week accolade this season for the period ended Oct. 22.
 
Herrmann placed third at the Mount Marty Invitational on Saturday. She completed the 6,000-meter race at Fox Run Golf Course in a season-best time of 23:53.58. A native of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, this marks the first career accolade for Herrmann.
 
South Dakota toes the line for the postseason on Saturday with the Summit League Championships slated for 11 a.m. in Brookings, South Dakota.
