Coyotes conclude cross country slate at Midwest Regionals Friday

STILLWATER, Okla. – South Dakota cross country wrapped up the cross country season by racing at the NCAA Midwest Regionals Friday morning in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
 
The Coyote women took 25th as a team in a field of 32, led by Geneva Timmerman's 51st place finish, running the 6k in 21:42.6. Second and third place Coyotes across the line were Taylor Byerley in 22:57.7 and Alexus Sindelar in 22:58.9.

The Coyote men were 27th out of 30 men's teams at the Midwest Regional. Natnael Kifle was the top Coyote finisher, crossing the line 120th in 33:25.9. The next two Coyotes across the finish line were Piercze Marshall and Levi Hill in 33:37.9 and 33:39.0 respectively.
