VERMILLION, S.D.—No. 9 South Dakota will face No. 10 Southern Illinois in one of two top-10 matchups taking place inside the FCS this week.
 
The Coyotes (6-2, 4-1 MVFC) are ranked in the top 10 for the fourth consecutive week. They will face their fourth top-25 opponent in six games in Southern Illinois (6-2, 3-2), which topped winless Western Illinois 63-0 last week. The Salukis' lone losses are to Youngstown State and South Dakota State. They beat Northern Illinois in non-conference play.
 
No. 4 Montana (7-1) hosts No. 7 Sacramento State (6-2) in the other FCS matchup involving top-10 teams. In other action, top-ranked South Dakota State (8-0) hosts No. 11 North Dakota State (6-2) and No. 14 Chattanooga (7-2) welcomes second-ranked Furman (7-1). No. 23 Albany (6-3) hosts No. 24 William & Mary (5-3).
