VERMILLION, S.D.—The only thing better than one Greenberg sister is two Greenberg sisters.
Â
South Dakota head women's golf coach
Brett Bennett is pleased to announce that Eva Greenberg of Rockford, Illinois, and Boylan Catholic High School has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Coyotes for the 2024-25 season. Eva is the younger sister of
Ella Greenberg, who turned in two top-five finishes as a freshman for USD this fall.
Â
"I am happy to be bringing Eva on board to join our team for the 2024 season," said Bennett. "She had been on campus at a young age and is very familiar with the program here. She will come in, compete for a spot and add more depth to our program. Her hard work and dedication to the game, along with her personality, will make for a great fit."
Â
Greenberg is a conference, regional and sectional champion who boasts a personal-best, low round score of 67. She has been a state finalist in Illinois four times and placed fifth individually as a junior in 2022. The Greenberg sisters helped lead the Titans to a fourth-place team finish at state in 2021 and a runner-up finish in 2022.
Â
Greenberg helped Boylan Catholic qualify for the National High School Golf Association National Invitational in Texas this past July. She placed 42
nd out of a field of nearly 200 competitors and her team placed 19
th overall. Greenberg won the Girls' 2A Burlington Central Sectional meet in early October with a 67, three strokes clear of the field.
