Women's Golf Signs Transfer Lindsey Lund to 2026-27 Roster

VERMILLION, S.D. — Head coach Brett Bennett has announced the addition of transfer golfer Lindsey Lund to the 2026-27 women's golf roster.
 
The incoming sophomore spent her freshman season at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota where she appeared in all 11 tournaments this past season with one top-10 finish. Her best finish came at The Jewel Women's Invitational in September 2025 with a 10th-place finish with a 152 (+10) scorecard. She held a season average of 80 in her first collegiate season of golf.
 
The Warriors finished fourth at the 2026 NSIC Championships and earned a team berth to the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Regionals. Lund was the highest-finishing Warrior at Regionals with rounds of 83 (+11), 83 (+11), and 81 (+9) for a top-75 finish in the field.
 
A native of Dawson, Minnesota, Lund was a two-time Minnesota Class A Individual State Champion (2024, 2025) and two-time Section 5A individual champion (2024, 2025). She was a Ms. Minnesota finalist and 2025 and finished her high school golf career as a four-time Class A All-State team honoree (2022-25).
 
She's the daughter of Darin and Lisa Lund and plans to continue her studies in accounting at the University of South Dakota.
