First Serve
South Dakota will conclude regular season play in Brookings as they take on the Jackrabbits. First serve is set for 7 p.m. The match is a part of this year's Interstate Series sponsored by First Interstate Bank and one point is up for grabs between the two teams.

The Coyotes
South Dakota (17-9, 11-4 Summit) is heading into the regular season finale on a four-match streak where all four wins have been sweeps. The Yotes are currently in a three-way tie for second place in the league standings at 11-4 with Kansas City and Denver.

As a squad, the Coyotes lead the league in team service aces with 183 behind
Kylen Sealock's league-leading 43 service aces. The team's total and Sealock's total both rank 49
th in the NCAA. In their five-set reverse sweep of Omaha on Oct. 19, the Yotes tallied 15 service aces as a team, the most in a game since 2012 (19 vs Arkansas Pine Bluff). Sealock recorded a career-high five service aces in that match, which ties for 11
th in USD history in a single game.

On defense, the Yotes lead the league in total team blocks behind
Madison Harms' league-leading 1.28 blocks per set. Harms is just nine blocks away from owning the Summit League all-time career blocks record. The middle blocker's .374 hitting percentage continues to lead the league.

The Jackrabbits
South Dakota State (9-18, 7-8 Summit) secured the sixth seed in the upcoming Summit League Tournament, winning five of its last seven matches.

Freshman outside hitter Sylvie Zgonc averages 3.49 kills per set to lead the Jackrabbits on offense. Last time these two teams met, Zgonc had a dominating offensive performance for SDSU, totaling a match-high 26 kills with 12 of those kills coming just in set two. The freshman added 11 digs, three blocks, one service ace, and a .286 hitting clip.

On defense, the Jackrabbits are led by libero Stella Winterfeld who averaged 3.81 digs per set (third in the league). Louisville transfer Sydni Schetnan leads the Jackrabbit block with 75 total blocks on the season.

The Series
Earlier this season, South Dakota reverse-swept South Dakota State in five sets to pick up its 17
th-straight win over the Jacks. The five-set match was just the fifth time USD and SDSU had gone to five sets in the Division I era.

The Summit League Tournament starts on Sunday in Vermillion. Match times are 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday for the quarterfinals, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday for the semifinals, and the championship match is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
