South Dakota is set to play in one of its most premiere events of the season at the Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Oregon. The tournament is a three-day event with 18 hole rounds each day. The course will play as a par 72 and cover 6,676 yards.
South Dakota is one of four teams making its first appearance in this tournament. Drexel, James Madison, and Sacramento State are the other three teams new to the Bandon Dunes Intercollegiate. The Coyotes will play alongside four teams from the PAC-12 including Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, and Washington State. Each day of the event will begin with an 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun start.

Ben Hicks at the No. 1 bag followed by
Max Schmidtke,
Bryce Hammer,
Hunter Rebrovich, and
Nick LaMotte.
Ryan Neff will play as an individual.
The Coyotes last competed at the Loyola Intercollegiate two weeks ago. The team recorded a 19th place finish, but Hicks was the highlight of the event. He had back-to-back season-low rounds in rounds two and three. Hicks posted a 217 (77-71-69) with eight birdies and one eagle in his rounds. He placed in a tie for 36th individually. Hammer had the second-best individual finish with a 223 total score. In his third round, Hammer tied his lowest round this season with a two-under par 70.
