South Dakota gears up for the Summit League Championships beginning on Sunday in Lincoln, Nebraska. The tournament consists of three 18-hole rounds and is being hosted at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The first round on Sunday with tee times beginning as early as 8:50 a.m. The second round on Monday and the third round on Tuesday have tee times as early as 8:00 a.m. The tee times for each player will depend on previous results. Wilderness Ridge Golf Course plays as a par 71 and covers 6,133 yards.

South Dakota's lineup for the Summit League Championships includes junior Akari Hayashi, freshman Catie Nekola, junior Danica Badura, freshman Emma Henningsson, and graduate student Molly Fossen. Freshman Alexa Wingnean will travel with the team as a potential substitute. Hayashi recently earned first team all-Summit League honors while Nekola received honorable mention announced by the league on Friday.

In their final tune-up before the Summit League Championships, the Coyotes earned a third-place finish as a team at the Stampede at the Creek in Omaha. Henningsson led the Coyotes with her best individual finish of the season. She scored a 226 through 54-holes and claimed a tie for eighth place. Fossen joined Henningsson in the top-10 with a tie for 10th place after a 227 three-round score.

USD enters the tournament with the third-best Golfstat ranking in the Summit League. Denver is first at No. 41 followed by Oral Roberts at No. 126. South Dakota is ranked third at No. 178. The Coyotes were picked third in this year's Summit League preseason poll.

At last season's Summit League Championships, the team finished in fourth place after a 924 three-round score. Badura claimed a tie for 19th place finish with a 230 overall score while Fossen recorded a tie for 25th place with a 235 score.
