The Meet
South Dakota travels to the 2023 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships held May 11-13 at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex in Fargo, North Dakota.
The Coyotes
South Dakota was picked as the preseason favorites for both the men's and women's titles. The Coyote women, ranked 32nd nationally by the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association, enter the weekend on the hunt for the fourth-straight championship after sweeping last year's indoor and outdoor championships and picking up another title indoors this year. USD swept the men's and women's indoor Summit titles, a program first, back in February inside the DakotaDome. If the Coyotes were to go 4-for-4 on the year, they would join North Dakota State and Southern Utah as the only schools to accomplish such a feat in Summit League history.
