VERMILLION, S.D.—The University of South Dakota athletic department kicks off the first Lunch with the U. of the season on Thursday, Aug. 24.
 
Lunch with the U. is held throughout the academic year at the Sioux Falls Pizza Ranch on 41st Street with various guests. The event is open to the public and scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
Head football coach Bob Nielson kicks off the new season as the guest on Aug. 24, one week ahead of the Coyotes' season opener at Missouri. Volleyball head coach Leanne Williamson will make an appearance on Sept. 21 leading into the team's Summit League slate.
