SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—The University of South Dakota's 11th annual Calling All Coyotes – A Red Tie Event held April 19 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center raised a record $603,854, which will be used to support the University of South Dakota student-athletes through the Howling Pack. The event serves as an evening of celebration dedicated to the achievements of USD student-athletes, while recognizing a community that helps create opportunities for their success.

"The 2024 Calling All Coyotes auction was a tremendous success!" said USD deputy athletic director Corey Jenkins. "This is by far our most successful auction to date, and that is a true testament to the generosity of Coyote nation. We greatly appreciate everyone who participated in the event and answered the call to action to support our student-athletes."

CorTrust Bank served as the presenting sponsor for the evening, which included silent and live auctions with auctioneer Wayne Haines, drinks, and a plated dinner. This year's event also featured the brand new "Fund-A-Yote Paddle Raise" that provided guests with the opportunity to directly support student-athlete scholarships.

A trip to the Masters, a California Lake Tahoe getaway, and Whimsical Way: an Orlando home, were among the many items sold during the live auction. This year's record total of $603,854, is more than $200,000 more than the previous auction record. In total the Calling All Coyotes auction has raised more than $3.78 million for the Howling Pack and student-athlete scholarships since its inception 11 years ago.
