AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—South Dakota finished with a team score of 22-over par and tied for 13
th place out of 24 teams at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational. The 54-hole event spanned three days, Sunday through Tuesday.

The Coyotes shot a final round 294 (+6) Tuesday for their best mark of the three days. It was aided by
Ryan Neff's even-par 72, a round that included five birdies. He finished 9-over for the tournament, good for 70
th place out of 120 competitors.

South Dakota's
Logan Hamak and
Cole Witherow tied for 40
th place at 4-over par. Witherow was 1-over on his round Tuesday while Hamak carded a 3-over par 75. Witherow, a freshman, was competing in his first collegiate event.

Max Schmidtke was 2-over on his round Tuesday and 7-over for the tournament. He placed 57
th.
Joe Rohlwing had three birdies and fired a 76 in round three.

Colorado State, behind medalist Christoph Bleier, won the competition with a team score of 13-under. They were 11 strokes better than second-place Wyoming and 13 better than third-place UC Davis and Valparaiso. Bleier and Valparaiso's Caleb VanArragon tied atop the individual race at 13-under.

Over on the Silver Course, South Dakota senior
Nick LaMotte finished a separate 54-hole competition involving a field of 33 golfers. LaMotte shot a 4-over par 76 Tuesday and was 1-over for the tournament, good for 13
th place. Northern Colorado's TJ Shehee won a three-way playoff over UC Davis' Alejandro Nava and Cal Poly's Louis Pilod. All three were 10-under through 54 holes.
