USD visits Montana for Big Sky-Summit Challenge

The Game

South Dakota travels to Montana for a game at 8 p.m. central Wednesday night inside Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, Montana.

A live stream of the game will be available on ESPN+ available via the WatchESPN app. A radio broadcast from the Coyote Sports Network with Jerry Palleschi will be available on KVTK 101.5 FM/1570 AM.

The Coyotes

South Dakota (11-4, 1-1 Summit) is coming off its third-straight overtime road win. The program had never had more than one overtime road win in a single season prior to this year. Those overtime thrillers have helped the Coyotes win eight of their last nine.

Preseason all-Summit pick Grace Larkins leads the Summit in scoring and assists. Larkins became the 31st Coyote to eclipse 1,000 career points last time out. She had her 10th career double-double against Omaha with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Junior guard Kendall Holmes and senior forward Tori DePerry are averaging 10 apiece to join Larkins in double-figure scoring.

The Lady Griz

Montana (8-3, 2-0 Big Sky) has also won eight of its last nine and enters Wednesday's game on a five-game winning streak. The Lady Griz have been balanced on the offensive end, putting five players in double-figures for the fourth time this season last week against Weber State.

Montana will put a test to the Coyotes' 25th-ranked 3-point defense on Wednesday night. The Lady Griz have made 10 or more 3-pointers for five-straight games, making 10 in eight of 11 this season. Montana ranks eighth nationally for 3-pointers made per game (9.6). Mack Konig has made 9-of-18 from deep in the last five games.

The Series

South Dakota leads the series 2-1 with all four meetings in the last six seasons. The Lady Griz won last year's meeting in Vermillion 76-60.
