Vermillion, S.D. — Sophomore,
Madison Brouwer, has clinched her first ever Women's Cross Country Peak Performer of the Week award from The Summit League this 2024 season.
Brouwer competed in the Gans Creek Classic (Sep. 27) hosted by the Missouri Tigers and faced really tough competition. She ended up taking 68
th place but put up a time of 21:21 for the women's 6k. Brouwer was the first of the Coyotes to finish the race.
Now,
Madison Brouwer is currently ranked No. 4 in the Summit League with her top time this season of 21:21. She is the first women's Coyote runner to earn a weekly honor.
