Matthews, La. — The South Dakota men's golf team concludes their fall season slate with a first place finish at the LaTour Intercollegiate in Matthews, La.
The Coyotes were very consistent throughout the two days of golf as they carded round scores of 285, 280, and 285. Overall, the Yotes finished -14 on the course and racked up 22 bridies in the final round.

Golfer,
Shoma Taguchi, finished out the tournament with an amazing round of golf, carding a score of 68 (-4). Taguchi ended the back nine by carding his seventh birdy on the day, which bumped him up to tying for 14
th place.
Graduate senior,
Max Schmidtke, and senior,
Logan Hamak both share the title for sixth place overall amongst the 72 golfers and lead the Coyotes to their first place victory. Schmidtke had the second lowest round score from the team on the day with a 71 stroke count.
