VERMILLION, S.D. – Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Lucky Huber is excited to announce the 2024-25 indoor track and field schedule, featuring eight regular season meets.
 
The indoor slate is highlighted by USD's lone home competition inside the DakotaDome, the USD Alumni Meet on Jan. 18. The Coyotes also make four trips to Brookings, including the Summit League Indoor Championships Feb. 28-March 1.
 
The First meet of the season is in Brookings, as the Coyotes travel to the SDSU Holiday Invite on December 6. After the holiday break, the Coyotes return to action for their home meet. The Coyote will make two trips to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Mark Colligan Memorial on Jan. 25 and the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Feb. 7-8.
 
Other road competitions include the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan, Kan. and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
 
The South Dakota men will look to capture a third straight Summit League Indoor Championship at the Summit League Championships Feb. 28 and March 1 in Brookings. The South Dakota women placed runner-up indoor last season.
 
The NCAA Indoor Championships are set for March 14-15 in Virginia Beach, Va. Last season, the Coyotes sent two pole vaulters to the NCAA Championships (Marleen Mülla, Marshall Faurot).
