VERMILLION, S.D.—Game three of the South Dakota vs. South Dakota State softball series scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Nygaard Field has been canceled due to field conditions from the overnight snow and ice.
 
The Coyotes return to action at Kansas City next Friday at Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City, Missouri.
