SELLERSBURG, Ind. – South Dakota finished in fourth place as a team at the Summit League Championship, led by senior
Nick LaMotte's third place finish.

LaMotte shot a 3-under par score of 69 on the final day of the championship to finish in a six-way tie for third place. With an overall three-day score of 209, LaMotte earned himself a spot on the Summit League all-tournament team for the first time in his Coyote career.

Cole Witherow finished in a tie for 12
th place with an overall three-day score of 212. Witherow shot an even 72 on the final day of the championship.

Logan Hamak and
Max Schmidtke each finished with overall scores of 216, placing them in a five-way tie for 24
th place. Hamak shot a one-under par 71 and Schmidtke shot a 1-over par 73 to finish out the championship.

Ryan Neff rounded out the Coyotes with an overall score of 219 to finish in a tie for 32
nd place. Neff shot a 1-under par 71 on the final day of the championship.

As a team, South Dakota finished in fourth place with an overall team score of 14-under par 850. Kansas City took home the title with a 31-under par team score of 833. South Dakota State came in second place with a 24-under par 840, and Oral Roberts took the bronze spot with a 16-under par 848.

North Dakota State and St. Thomas finished in a tie for 5
th place with 10-under par scores of 854. Denver shot 4-under par 860 as a team for seventh place and North Dakota finished one-under par 863 for eighth place. Omaha rounded out the field with a 16-over par team score of 880.
