VERMILLION, S.D. — First-year head coach Chad Green has announced the South Dakota men's golf 2024-25 tournament schedule on Friday. The Coyotes will compete in 10 regular season tournaments with trips to Arizona and North Carolina in the spring semester.
 
"Our goal is to produce a schedule that provides our player to play in high quality tournaments at championship golf course," commented Green on the 2024-25 schedule. "Looking forward we have made a lot of progress towards this by adding Minnesota, Missouri, and Purdue to our schedule this year."
 
South Dakota's men's golf will kick off their season on September 9-10 in the Derek Dolenc tournament, hosted by SIUE in Madison, Illinois. Later in the fall, the Coyotes will host a tournament down in Homer, Nebraska in the Throw Down Up Top on October 7-9.
 
"One of the most exciting developments is the opportunity to host our home tournament at Landmand, one of the top golf courses in the country, located less than an hour from Vermillion (Homer, Neb.)," noted Green. "This incredible venue will once again be the setting for the second Throw Down Up Top Intercollegiate, and we are eagerly looking forward to another fantastic event at Landmand."
 
The fall slate wraps up in late October when the Yotes travel down to Louisiana to compete in the La Tour Intercollegiate, hosted by Nicholls State on October 21-22 at La Tour Golf Club.
 
The spring slate features tough competition with three of the six tournaments in the spring being hosted by Power 5 institutions, including the Minnesota Gophers, Mizzou Tigers, and the Purdue Boilermakers.
 
On March 24-25 the squad will be in Litchfield, Arizona at the Wigwam Golf Club for the tournament hosted by the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas. Following this tournament, the team will head to Columbia, Missouri on April 8-9 to compete in the Mizzou Invitational.
 
The final tune-up prior to the Summit League Championships will see the team head to West Lafayette, Indiana for the Spring Boilermaker tournament at Longbow Golf Club for the event on April 19-20.
 
The Summit League Championships are set for April 27-29 in Mesa, Arizona at Longbow Golf Club, marking the squad's third trip down to the Grand Canyon State.
