Max Schmidtke, has won his second Summit League Peak Performer of the Week award after another impressive performance at this week's Zach Johnson Invitational.
The Yotes were in West Des Moines on Monday and Tuesday (Sep. 23-24) where
Max Schmidtke tied for fourth place overall against a total of 81 golfers. Schmidtke put up round scores of 71, 69, and 70 totaling in a score of 210.
Schmidtke had a total of 11 birdies on the tournament and is consistently putting up low numbers for the Coyotes. His best round was round two where he shot an even par through the front nine and two under on the back nine holes.
September 23
rd marks a historic day for Schmidtke as he carded his first ever collegiate hole-in-one. He tee'd off hole No. 5 using a five iron to complete the feat of a 210 yd. drive hole-in-one. Schmidtke has executed this one time prior during a high school tournament.
