Stillwater, Minn. — After 36 holes of golf, a total of 7,013 yards covered two times, and a stroke score of 599 the USD men's golf team sits in sixth place.
 
The Coyotes carded round scores of 298 and 301for rounds one and two of the Tommie Invitational. In total the Yotes had 22 team birdies on the day where Cole Witherow (So.) accounted for four of those just in the first round.

Cole Witherow (So.) had a strong day of golf as he carded low round scores of 76 and 71. At the end of day one Witherow is tied for 12^th place overall amongst his fellow teammate Jack Holtz (Fr.) who happens to be golfing individually.
 
Jack Holtz is a new face to the team but has become a familiar golfer in the USD golf lineup, proving himself as a freshman. In round one Holtz put up a round score of 75 and 72 in round two, totaling in 147 strokes.
