VERMILLION, S.D. — The University of South Dakota cross country teams head to Nebraska for their second meet of the season, competing in the Platte River Rumble. The women will race in the 5k beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by the men's 6k at 7:15 p.m.

Men's 6k | 7:15 p.m.
The USD men's and women's cross country teams are heading into tomorrow's meet coming off a sweep in their season opening meet that was held on home grounds last Friday (Aug. 30). A link to the course map can be found above.
The meet will be held at the Eugene T. Mahoney State Park where the women's 5k will start at 6:30 p.m. and consists of running the 1k trail first, then a 2k loop, and finishing with the 1k trail.
The men's 6k race will start at 7:15 p.m. following the women's race, where the men will start with the 1k trail, followed by running the 2k loop twice, and ending back at the finish line by the 1k trail.
