Coyotes Finish Day One In The Top Half Of The Field

Goodyear, Ariz.The South Dakota men's golf team finished in the top half of the field with a stroke count of 289, scoring (+1) for day one of the Loyola Intercollegiate.
 
The Coyotes hold ninth place at the conclusion of day one, with senior Logan Hamak leading the team and sophomore Cole Witherow tailing him by two strokes. The Yotes carded 19 birdies, with three of them clinching four a piece.

Logan Hamak is sitting in ninth place amongst the large field of 113 golfers. Hamak started off his day with an eagle on hole two and a birdie on hole four. He finished the day with four total birdies and a stroke count of 69 (-3).
