Yotes Score A Season Low Round On Final Day

Goodyear, Ariz.The South Dakota men's golf team carded a stroke count of 279 (-9), marking a new low round for the Coyotes this 24-25 golf season.
 
The Coyotes ended (-10) on the course to finish out the last day of the tournament. This also marked a team low round this season, topping the La Tour Intercollegiate (Oct. 21, 2024) and the Throw Down Up Top (Oct. 9, 2024) tournaments by two strokes.
 
The Yotes carded a total stroke count of 854, putting them in the position to clinch sixth place in a very large and competitive field of 20 teams.

Senior Logan Hamak clinched a career low round today, ending (-6) on the course with a total stroke count of 210. Hamak tied for tenth place overall out of 116 golfers, his second top ten finish this season.
 
Hamak tallied four birdies for round three, totaling his stroke count at 70 (-2). Sophomore Cole Witherow placed within the top 25, scoring (-2) on the course. He played a very clean round of golf, finishing out the back nine scoring par on every hole.
 
Graduate senior Max Schmidtke was the third Coyote to end negative (-1) on the course. Schmidtke carded an eagle on hole 11 and followed with birdies on holes 13, 14, and 15 to finish out the tournament.
