IOWA CITY, Iowa -- South Dakota men's and women's swimming and diving teams go after league titles at the 2025 Summit League Championships being contested this season at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center on the University of Iowa campus. 

The four-day championships run Wednesday through Saturday as the seven teams compete for 20 league titles, broken down as 13 individual events, two diving board events and five relays.

The Coyote men's team seeks an eighth straight season with a top three team finish while the women's team is going after a fourth-straight top two finish and has finished in the top three six straight years.

League favorite Denver goes after its 12th straight women's title and fourth straight and 11 of 12 on the men's side. 

KAHN GOES FOR MORE

Emily Kahn, a four-time Summit League individual champion, will look to continue her stranglehold on the short sprint events in the league. 

She goes after a three-peat in both the 50 free and 100 free and enters her final Summit League Championships as a seven-time champion and 19 time all conference performer. 

Kahn, a senior from Denver, Colorado, is the top seed in two events, the 50 free and 100 fly and is seeded second in the 100 free. Seeds based on season best times. 

Kahn is one of only four Coyotes to win a Summit League individual swimming title. 

Kahn's four Summit League individual titles rank second on the school's career list, trailing only diver Greysen Hertting, who captured six titles in her four-year career. 

FISHER EYES REPEAT

Adam Fisher will gun for a repeat league title in the 100 backstroke where he enters as the third seed based on season best times. 

Fisher is one of eight Coyotes on the men's side to claim league titles in individual events and he can become the fifth to win two or more.

The senior from Windlake, Wisconsin, has earned All-Summit League honors 11 times over his first three seasons, including in at least one individual event in each season.
