SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota women's basketball's senior standout
Grace Larkins has added another award to her trophy case, this time receiving the Kwik Star Summit League Female Peak Performer of the Month, announced by the conference office Thursday.

Larkins, a senior from Altoona, Iowa, earned the monthly Summit League honor for the third time in her career (Jan. 2023, Dec. 2023, Jan. 2025). For the month of January, Larkins averaged 26.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. She also averaged 5.8 assists and added 15 steals in the month.

Against Omaha on Jan. 11, Larkins broke the single game record for points (45), field goals made (19), and field goals attempted (32). She led the Coyotes with a 52% field goal percentage and had 15 of the team's 31 offensive rebounds in the month.

Larkins received the Associated Press and USBWA National Player of the Week honors following her record breaking performance and earned the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honor twice, and most recently won it for a third time during conference play this week.

Larkins and the Coyotes are back in action this evening (Thursday) against Oral Roberts inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. The Coyotes then hit the road to take on North Dakota State in Fargo Saturday afternoon.
