WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Another 69 (-2) day for sophomore
Joe Rohlwing sees him jump up 10 spots in the individual standings for his first-career top-10 finish in the final regular season tournament of the season at the Boilermaker Invitational.
South Dakota finishes 13
th as a squad out of 18 teams in the field. USD slid up one spot from 14
th, where they ended the day on Saturday.
Rohlwing shot his second 69 (-2) to conclude the tournament, carding three birdies (6, 7, 12). He shot par or better on 17 of the 18 holes on the day, seeing him skyrocket up the individual leaderboard. The tournament (Round 1 & Round 3) saw him also set a new career low round with his 69 (-2).
Jack Holtz ended the tournament with a 73 (+2) round score as he secures a top-40 finish in a field of 90 golfers.
Cole Witherow posted his best round of the tournament with a 72 (+1) to move up nine spots on the individual leaderboard and finishing third on the USD squad.
Logan Hamak posted a 74 (+3) and moved up a couple of spots as well.
