Mesa, Ariz. — The South Dakota women's golf team takes sixth place at the Summit League Championships after putting up a season low round score of 284, even with par.
Sophomore
Ava Schroeder scored a career-low round with a 66, ending (-5) on par for the day. Schroeder's round score tied for the third lowest 18-hole score in tournament history.
Schroeder golfed a very clean round, where she tallied six birdies and only one bogey throughout the 18 holes. She tied for 20
th overall.
Teammates
Ella Greenberg (So.) and
Catie Nekola (Jr.) finished in the top 20 of the competing field, both tying for 16
th place overall and carding round scores of 70 and 73, respectively.
Greenberg tallied three birdies on the front nine and pocketed one more on the back nine. Nekola tallied her two birdies within the first nine holes.
