Vermillion, S.D. — Sophomore Joe Rohlwing earns this week's Kwik Star #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week award after tying for seventh place overall at the Boilermaker Invitational.
 
This is Rohlwing's first career top-10 finish as he carded round scores of 69, 71, 69. He marked a new low round score during rounds one and three, shooting (-2) on the Ackerman-Allen Course in West Lafayette, Indiana.
 
Rohlwing sat at T17 in the individual rankings concluding day one, ending the day (-2) on par. Round one started Rohlwing off strong as he came out (-3) on the front nine with three birdies. He finished out the back nine canceling one of his two bogeys with another birdie.
 
Rohlwing climbed 10 places on the player leaderboard during day two, after posting his second low 69 (-2). He tallied three more birdies that canceled out his bogey on hole No. 3.
 
Rohlwing ended (-4) on the course and pocketed a total of 11 birdies in the tournament.
