Max Schmidtke led the Coyotes through round one, where the team tallied 15 birdies and Schmidtke pocketed four for himself.
Schmidtke is tied for second place overall after stringing together very solid 18 holes of golf. He carded a round score of 70, ending (-1) on the course.
Sophomore
Joe Rohlwing golfs one stroke more than Schmidtke, putting up a round score of 71 that is even with par. Rohlwing is tied for eighth place overall while tallying five birdies.
Sophomore
Cole Witherow also golfs within the top twenty with a round score of 73. Witherow is currently tied for sixteenth overall and pocketed two birdies through the back nine.
