Columbia, Mo. — The South Dakota men's golf team placed within the top half of the playing field, concluding the Tiger Invitational hosted by Mizzou.
The Coyotes put up round scores of 286, 298, and 289, taking eighth place overall. As a team, the Yotes tallied 15 birdies in round one, with
Cole Witherow (So.) and
Joe Rohlwing (So.) each pocketing four.
Rohlwing led the coyotes, tying for 22
nd in a large field of 99 golfers. He carded round scores of 72, 71, 73 and tallied eight birdies.
Max Schmidtke (Grad. Sr.) followed close behind by one stroke. He ended (+7) on the course with round scores of 70, 76, and 71. Schmidtke tallied four birdies in round three and seven in total.
