VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes women's soccer team will take on two non-conference opponents this week, hosting Northern Colorado on Thursday before heading to Omaha to face Creighton on Sunday.
THE COYOTES
South Dakota enters the week with a 4-1-2 record and looks to build on a strong start to the season. Offensively, the Coyotes have demonstrated balance and depth, with eight different players scoring at least one goal so far. Klarissa Vega leads the team with four goals, while Brooke Conway and Rylee Haldeman pace the squad in assists with two each.
Defensively, goalkeeper Campbell Fischer has been a consistent presence in net. She has started every game she's played this season, totaling 13 saves and recording back-to-back shutouts in her last two appearances.

Northern Colorado
Thursday | 6:00 p.m. | First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex – Vermillion, S.D.
The Bears arrive in Vermillion with a 1-4-2 record, highlighted by a win over Summit League foe Oral Roberts and a draw against Omaha. Forward Lexi Tuite (No. 7) is a key player to watch, leading Northern Colorado with three goals and registering 15 shots, nine of which have been on target.
Creighton
Sunday | 12:30 p.m. | Morrison Stadium – Omaha, Neb.
Creighton enters the week with a 1-4-1 record and will face Omaha on Wednesday before hosting the Coyotes. The Bluejays are led by forward Jalen Chaney (No. 25), who has recorded two goals and one assist through six matches. Chaney has taken seven total shots so far this season.
