VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota track and field is set to host the annual USD Alumni Meet inside the DakotaDome Saturday, January 17, inviting all to campus for the meet and additional activities for fans and alumni.

The USD Alumni meet serves as a meaningful tradition of USD Track and Field, bringing together past, current, and future Coyotes for a fun day of competition. The competition gets underway at noon with five universities in attendance. A full schedule of events can be found here.
 
Following the conclusion of the meet Saturday, young fans are welcome to join the Future Coyotes 60-meter dash competition, racing against Charlie Coyote. There is also a chance for former athletes to get back on the track as USD hosts the Alumni 4x200-meter co-ed relay.
 
The fun will continue after the meet as well, as alumni, parents, and friends of USD Track and Field are welcome to join the post-meet gathering at The W Social Club in Vermillion. Join Coyote track and field in reconnecting and celebrating the Coyote community and get a chance to get a glimpse of the future of USD track and field by viewing conceptual drawings of USD's planned new indoor track and field facility, the Gassen Family Fieldhouse.
