VERMILLION, S.D. — After a fifth-place, personal best run at the Bradley Pink Classic, South Dakota's Natnael Kifle has earned this week's Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Kifle ran 23:21.9 at the Bradley Pink Classic 8k. It was his second consecutive race under 24 minutes, and he was the top Summit League finisher in the field. It was the fifth fastest time in the Summit League this season, and second fastest by a Coyote (Isaac Ochoa at the Gans Creek Classic).

Kifle is South Dakota's third Summit League Peak Performer this season, making this the first year since 2021 where USD has totaled three or more unique Peak Performers in one season.

A 2024 all-Summit League Second Team performer, Kifle has been right alongside Ochoa all season long among the top 10 runners in the conference. Next up for the Coyotes is the Summit League Championships in St. Paul, Minn., hosted by St. Thomas on Halloween (Oct. 31).
