Mülla, Amin earn Peak Performer honors after strong showings at Nebraska Tune-Up

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – One Coyote tied the Summit League record for most career Peak Performer of the Week honors by a women's indoor track and field athlete and another earned her first career honor in this week's Kwik Star Summit League Indoor Track and Field Peak Performer of the Week awards, announced by the league office Tuesday.
 
Marleen Mülla claimed her ninth career (third this season) Peak Performer honor, tying the most by a Summit League athlete during the indoor season. She cleared a personal best of 15-2 ¼ (4.63m) at the Nebraska Tune-Up to set a school record that is second in the NCAA and first in the Summit League. It's also an Estonian National Record.
 
Sophie Amin earned her first career Peak Performer after a personal best performance at the Nebraska Tune-Up last week. She ran a 8.36 60-meter hurdle time to win the event and move into second in school history in the event. Her time ranks first in the Summit League this season and 78th in the NCAA.
 
A total of five Coyotes have accounted for nine conference weekly honors this season.
